Jesus promised to be with us: “I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Mt 28.20). And he sent his Spirit to sustain us to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you” (Mt 28.19-20). The Roman Catholic Church is the largest organized Christian denomination in the world. The word “catholic,” literally translated, means “universal,” and is indicative of the Catholic worldview.
This is what we are all about. “We embrace the Gospel (Good News) - believing what we read, preaching what we believe, and practicing what we preach” (Pastoral Plan, Diocese of London).
We value anyone who seeks to learn more about the Catholic faith. There is no obligation. If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, you are encouraged to contact us using this form or get in touch with your local parish using our Parish Finder map at this link.
Becoming a member of the Catholic Church is guided by a process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This includes both instruction and formation in company with others, both Catholics and non-Catholics. The approach, while carefully set out, allows each person to proceed in his/her journey of faith at their own pace.
The RCIA is primarily intended for non-baptized persons seeking to be baptized and initiated in the Catholic Church. Christians who are members of non-Catholic Churches and communities who are seeking to enter the Catholic Church can do so by contacting us using this form or contacting their local Catholic parish using the Parish Finder map at this link.
