Canadian Priest Named Cardinal

Canadian Jesuit priest, Father Michael Czerny, has been named a Cardinal by Pope Francis.

Cardinal-designate Czerny, says he had no advance warning of the announcement eariler today. He is at a pre-synodial meeeting in Brazil. A fellow Jesuit from Vatican Media called him on WhatsApp to tell him. (a social media app)
