Position: Casual Hall Manager
Work Location: St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 132 Main Street, West Lorne, ON N0L 2P0
Commitment: No set hours per week. Hours are variable depending on events and hall bookings. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including the ability to work evenings and weekends to assist with events and meetings as required.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and Diocesan policies.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Hall Manager for the Elgin Roman Catholic Family of Parishes is responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities at St. Mary’s Parish Hall in West Lorne. This includes managing inquiries and bookings, preparing rental contracts, verifying insurance requirements, and maintaining the hall calendar for parish and rental events. The Hall Manager also oversees hall staff as needed and works closely with custodial staff and parish leadership to ensure the hall is clean, functional, and in compliance with diocesan policies and procedures.

A police record check as deemed suitable by the Diocese of London will be required of the successful candidate.
Please note: All new staff are required to complete on-line mandatory training available in English or French. Basic computer and reading proficiency to successfully complete this education is required.
