As the Universal Church looks toward the Jubilee Year 2025, the Diocese of London, along with the Youth, Young Adult & Family Ministry Office, is thrilled to support the Holy Father in this "event of great spiritual, ecclesial, and social significance in the life of the Church."
Pope Francis stated in his February 2022 letter announcing the Jubilee 2025: "We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us. As the Universal Church anticipates the Jubilee Year 2025, the Diocese of London, alongside the Youth, Young Adult & Family Ministry Office, is delighted to support the Holy Father in this momentous event of profound spiritual, ecclesial, and social significance for the life of the Church.
The YYAFM Office is excited to welcome young Catholic leaders, ages 19-35, from the Diocese of London to join us on a Pilgrimage of Hope for the Jubilee of Youth in Rome. This event takes place during the Jubilee Year - July 23 through August 5, 2025.
The cost of the pilgrimage is between $400- $4500. This includes airfare, accommodations, and most meals. Fundraising efforts will be organized, however we cannot predict the amount at this time.
Spaces are limited. We are now accepting applications to join us on the pilgrimage. We hope to bring a diverse group of young adults from across the diocese. Applications are due Friday, February 28th, 2025.
