Pastoral Appointments and Changes

I am pleased to announce the following pastoral appointments and changes which will take effect 4 July 2022, unless otherwise noted.

Sabbatical

Rev. Graham Keep, currently Pastor of the Elgin Roman Catholic Family of Parishes, will be on sabbatical from 3 Jan 2022 to 31 March 2022 and from 3 May 2022 to 5 August 2022.

Rev. John Johnson will be appointed Parish Administrator of the Elgin Roman Catholic Family of Parishes, from 3 Jan 2022 to 31 March 2022 and from 3 May 2022 to 5 August 2022.

Families of Parishes

Rev. Glen Ball has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Windsor, Holy Trinity, Windsor, St. Francis of Assisi, Windsor, Immaculate Heart, Windsor, St. Michael, Windsor. Rev. Stanislaw Izdebski has been appointed Associate Pastor of this Family, and Rev. Ljubo Lebo, OFM has been appointed Priest-Chaplain of St. Francis of Assisi, Windsor.

Rev. D. Matthew Bedard has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. Joseph, Corruna, St. Christopher, Forest, Our Lady Help of Christians, Watford, St. Philip, Petrolia. Rev. Michael Dwyer has been appointed Associate Pastor of this Family.

Rev. Arockiadoss Velanganni, OFM Cap. has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Mary Immaculate, London, Holy Cross, London, St. Andrew the Apostle, London, Communauté Catholique Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, London, St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Community, London, Our Lady of Siluva Lithuanian Catholic Community, London, Our Lady of the Rosary Vietnamese Catholic Community, London. Rev. Etienne Nadonye, OFM Cap. has been appointed Associate Pastor of this Family. Rev Anslemo Ri has been appointed Priest-Chaplain of St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Community, London. Rev. John Staskevicius has been appointed Priest-Chaplain of Our Lady of Siluva Lithuanian Catholic Community, London. Rev. Hai Hang Hoang, C.S.J.B. will serve Our Lady of the Rosary Vietnamese Catholic Community, London. A second Associate Pastor to be named will be assigned to this Family of Parishes.

Rev. Christopher Bourdeau has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. Francis of Assisi-St. Martin of Tours, London, St. Justin, London, St. Leopold Mandic, London. Rev. Mario Cabal, S.J. and Rev. Jozo Grubisic, OFM have been appointed Associate Pastors of this Family.

Rev. Daniel Bombardier has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, London, St. Michael, London, St. Josephine Bakhita African Caribbean Community, London. Rev. Christopher Pietraszko and Rev. Sekar L. Raj have been appointed Associate Pastors of this Family.

Rev. Robert Remark has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Holy Family, London, St. Patrick, Lucan. Rev. Jude Ogbenna, C.S.Sp. and Rev. Stevan Wlusek, have been appointed Associate Pastors of this Family.

Rev. Dariusz Jagodzinski has been appointed Pastor of the new Family of Parishes comprising Holy Trinity, Woodstock, Holy Cross Polish Catholic Community, Woodstock, Sacred Heart, Ingersoll. Rev. Abraham Sebastian, C.S.T. has been appointed Associate Pastor of this Family.

The Pastor for Christ the King University Parish is still to be announced.

Retiring

Rev. James Mockler, currently Rector of St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, London, is retiring in July 2022.

I thank the members of the Priest Personnel Board and offer our prayers and support to our priests, parish teams and parish families who will be affected by these pastoral changes. May God continue to bless our ministry to the people of our Diocese.
