Statement from the Diocese of London:
The Diocese of London and Catholic community of southwestern Ontario are deeply saddened to learn of all those who lost their lives in the crash of Ukrainian airlines flight PS752 in Iran last night. We are especially thinking of, and praying for, the four Western students and five Windsorites who died, and their families.
According to CBC London, the four Western students who perished are Ghazal Nourian, Hadis Hayatdovoudi, Milad Nahavandi, as well a fourth student who would have been starting a graduate program this semester.
CBC Windsor has reported that five Windsorites are confirmed killed in Iran plane crash: Samira Bashiri, Hamid Setarah Kokab, Zahra Naghibi, Mohammad Abbas Pourghaddi and Pedram Jadidi.
