The Youth, Young Adult & Family Ministry Office is offering two days of SERVICE for high school students during the March Break holiday. During these days the teens will complete at least 10 hours of community service that they can use as apart of the 40 hours they need to graduate from high school.
The SERVICE components are still in the planning process, but some of the projects will included: clean up, helping out with the elderly, serving food, giving time to children & families in need... plus more.
We are asking the teens to bring a lunch and water bottle. We will provide dinner.
Once your teen is registered, Christine Coyle will send more information, locations of drop off & pick up, times and the liability forms that must be signed by parents / guardians in order to participate.
If you have any questions before registering please email Christine Coyle at ccoyle@dol.ca.
Dates for Service & the Region where it will take place:
Tuesday, March 14th - Windsor / Essex Region (8:30am-8pm)
Thursday, March 16th - London Region (8:30am-8pm)
Please note: Some of the service components that serve people with high health-risk may require a proof of a covid-19 vaccine. There are other opportunities that do not have vaccination requirements.
